Christopher Cannon Bey,

The Moorish American Peoples First President.

President Christopher- Cannon: Bey born February 3, 1968 in Illinois, attended St. Frances X Cabrini

Grammar School, Manley High School, and was Coin institute graduate in electric, and eventually

found Moorish Science where he learned the teachings of the late honorable prophet noble Drew Ali,

and of the true nationality of the so-called negro, black, colored and African American people.

Original Cherokee Nation and Defender of the Cotton Empire Chief Doublehead, born around 1744,

was a paramount leader of the Cherokee Nation and one of the last true sovereign war chiefs who

resisted U.S. encroachment with both diplomacy and unyielding national strategy. A warrior,

statesman, and landholder, he stood at the center of Cherokee resistance during a pivotal era when

colonial expansion and internal betrayal reshaped Native nations across the southeast.

Contrary to the misrepresentations in colonial archives and settler-authored history books, Chief

Doublehead never ceded Cherokee land to the U.S. government. Instead, he envisioned and

implemented a leasing strategy, allowing temporary settler presence under Cherokee law. This leasing

model preserved Cherokee sovereignty while regulating access to land—ensuring that ownership

remained in Cherokee hands, rather than being surrendered permanently through unjust treaties.

Central to Chief Doublehead’s economic power was his role as a pioneering indigenous cotton

magnate. By the early 1800s, he controlled vast tracts of land cultivated by over 30,000 settlers

working his cotton plantations under lease. This was not a dependency on settler commerce, but

rather a bold assertion of Cherokee economic autonomy—placing Doublehead in direct competition

with Southern plantation owners and U.S. financial interests.

The magnitude of his agricultural holdings made him a powerful economic figure in the Southeast,

rivaling European-American plantation elites and asserting a form of Cherokee capitalism grounded in

sovereignty. His success not only disrupted settler ambitions to monopolize the cotton trade, but also

demonstrated that Native governance could thrive on its own terms, without assimilation or

subordination.

This economic independence, coupled with his refusal to sell land, placed a target on his back. U.S.

officials and wealthy settlers—eager to absorb Cherokee lands into the booming cotton

economy—aligned with a faction of foreign-born infiltrators, primarily Scottish men who had married

into the Nation but who had no legitimate political standing within the traditional councils. These

men, later labeled as “$5 Indians,” colluded with federal agents and Southern elites to orchestrate a

regime change within the Cherokee Nation.

They assassinated Chief Doublehead in 1807, framing it as an internal dispute, when in reality it was a

calculated political coup. His murder cleared the path for these impostor “chiefs” to take power, sign

fraudulent treaties, and gradually dismantle the Cherokee land base—culminating in the Indian

Removal Act and the Trail of Tears.

Chief Doublehead’s life is a testament to a hidden truth in American history: that the original

Cherokee leadership was overthrown not for betrayal, but for resistance. He did not sell out his

people—he was murdered because he refused to. His leasing policy, his cotton empire, and his

defense of national land rights threatened the foundation of settler expansion. His name was

slandered by the very forces who sought to erase him.

But oral history preserves what colonial history distorts. To the true heirs of the Cherokee legacy,

Chief Doublehead remains a hero of resistance, a sovereign landholder, and a visionary leader whose

legacy lives on in the fight for Indigenous restoration and self-determination.

The Cherokee Nation's national government was established in 1794 with the election of a Speaker,

the United States of America Republic National Government, President Cannon: Bey has been serving

the Moorish American People since 2015; with his cabinet of trusted advisors. He Re-established the

National Republic April 15, 2015 to bring the Moorish American people back under the Constitutional

fold of a Free National Government.

​He was Allah’s elect President Anointed to be the one to pick up the torch left by the Holy Prophet

Noble Drew Ali to light the way for the Moorish American People to find their way back to

Nationhood.

In July 30, 2015, following an unprecedented 106-day campaign to re-establish the United States of

America Republic National Government, He single handedly brought in 103 government officials to

assist in running the newly Re-established Government and had sworn in another 56 officials by

January 9, 2016.

largest Repatriation of Negro, Blacks, and African Americans back to true statehood in our state’s

history with over 200 More Moorish Americans joining U.S.A.R. by the end of 2016.

President Cannon: Bey writes legislation Establishing Laws for Citizenship for Moorish American

Nationals and Moorish Subjects in Morocco/America and the Laws of Expatriation and Repatriation.

President Cannon: Bey estimates 5,000 new Nationals after the first five years alone. To meet our

Nations rapidly changing workforce needs, President Cannon: Bey unveiled the Next Level Moorish

American Jobs program to help get more Moorish Americans into high-demand, high-wage jobs.

​In his first legislative session as President, he rallied Moorish American Government officials to

Legislate Laws for the Moorish American People, and he was shown full support from Moorish

lawmakers to expand Law Making. He also pushed the Continental Congress to establish foreign

policies, Driving Laws, and the establishment of the first Moorish Marshal/Vicegerent Law

Enforcement agency in America.

President Cannon: Bey also pushed for Identification uniformity, and Strict laws for the selling of

Nationality which made it illegal for anyone to sale Nationality on the American Continent. President

Cannon: Bey is now pushing for low-income Housing for Moorish Americans to Re-establish Moorish

American Communities Nationwide.

He will be unveiling the Moorish American National Recovery Program—a one-stop shop for

an end to the War on drugs started by Ronald Reagan that manly focused on urban areas. All of this

work is underscored by President Cannon: Bey’s commitment to providing great government service

He has a mission to make U.S.A.R. competitive in the global economy by “bringing the world to

Moorish Americans and taking Moorish Americans to the world.” So far, the President has plans with

meeting officials and industry leaders of China, Japan, Africa, India, Vietnam, Russia, Brazil, Saudi

Arabia, Philippine governments and more to showcase Moorish Americans assets and to build global

economic ties.

extensively throughout the Country—talking with Moors wherever he goes about how to make North
